We unexpectedly showed up on Christmas Eve since lots places are closed, so glad we did, Jun greeted us with fabulous Goat Stew, my friend tried Beef Stew. I particularly favoured the nourishing fermented spicy Soy Bean Paste along with all the kimchee I can possibly devour. Ho Ho Ho What better way to celebrate the Birth of Jesus than being in a Manger like setting, ha (see the Goats behind me)

If there is a Korean version a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives then this is it. This is a total mom and pop shop.

My friend and I were staying in Koreatown and were in the search for an authentic Korean restaurant experience with delicious homestyle food. We were not disappointed. The soups and grilled meats were so delicious and flavorful that we finished almost everything even though the portions were extremely generous! The galbitang had a nice rich broth and the grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful. The variety of bonchon was a perfect compliment. I enjoyed the fresh kimchi and crispy green peppers between bites of the hot soup and meat. Service was fast and friendly. When we asked for a to go container for our leftover kimchi, the waiter even gave us a small container of fresh rice to go with our leftovers. Very thoughtful! This is a hole in the wall, Korean restaurant experience and is a bit cluttered inside but, you don't come for the atmosphere but the delicious food. Be aware that parking is very tight and you may need to circle the small parking lot a couple of times before finding a spot. There are many other eateries in this small shopping mall that shares a small parking lot. However, they do have valet, but it will cost a few dollars extra.

This is the kind of haejang gook (hangover soup) that I've been looking for. I thought they only sold goat soup because that's what they're known for but I just recently found out they serve haejang gook as well. They make this soup just the way I like it--spicy, rich, and packed with flavors. We also ordered the kimchi pork belly which was really good as well. If you want some bomb haejang guk def check out this spot cus you won't regret it

Classic Korean soups, they are known for the classic hangover soup and I thought that was better than the dried pollack soup. Most people ordered the hangover soup.
